The steep cliffs and massive domes of Yosemite Valley are products of millions of years of weathering and erosion. Yosemite Valley was made majorly due to massive glacial erosion that is responsible for scouring large chunks of soft granite. This process left the spectacular granite cliffs in its wake. The domes of Yosemite Valley were primarily made from uplifting due to merging of tectonic plates. A top of the morning view of rounded silver domes offer a sharp contrast to the clear skies. Yosemite Valley is a taste of nature’s rugged yet elegant art.
