The large sequoias trees located in Yosemite National Park, California are some of the largest and oldest trees. In fact, the oldest tree in Mariposa Grove has been around for 2700 years. This tree, called the Grizzly Giant, is also the 25th largest tree in the world. The giant trees are generally wide in diameter and grow to be very tall. The Grizzly Giant itself is 64m above the ground, the second largest tree in the Mariposa Grove. Walking in the grove under the trees, you will see the clouds in the sky through the towering sequoias.
